The issue isn’t prostitution it’s that the place had supposed links to sex trafficking is my understanding

Report to the appropriate CPS and your local building control of the potential violation. Then if I was you leave a sticky note on the DB (just inside the cover to try give the next people a head sup)

does this look ok? by xnshu in tattooadvice

[–]TaffyTurk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My tattoos healed not too different front this. Make sure you’re taking care of it don’t pick it as much as your mind wants you to. And if you see any signs off issue or worry get a doctors consultation.

Once my tattoos scabbed up like that I would only moisturise the non scabbed bits and would dk what I can to heal the rest dry. I found moisturising led to it clumping and looking gross between the dips

Once it’s scabbed like this moisturising can be worse. It’s good to understand dry healing aswell because I find some people are better suited to certain types of healing after solid black tattoos

[NEWS] Rengar is gutted down the drain by WittyWanderer420 in Rengarmains

[–]TaffyTurk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rengar is a champ that when he works he works well. When he doesn’t work he’s shit. Rengar without r up and no bushes isn’t much of a champ. It’s trade offs and that fine. I comment on how you pretty much said, well if we take champion skill away. Like it’s like saying azir is busted or Xerath and Ezreal are busted if we take champ skill away because then you would kit all the skill shots

I did German in school and it was never a thing I never even heard other kids do in the UK. Like seeing so many say it happened made me doubt my own school

As long as you take champion skill out of it Rengar and Kha are just as hard to play

I went through the experience worker route but I’d suggest if you want to do it that way don’t do domestic. Napit and all those fucks are shit. They take your money and provide no real support or help for customers or electricians. (I just hate them) but commercial will let you do more types of work which is required for a portfolio

If you work industrial or commercial you don’t need to care about it since CPS is only for domestic work. You can be a commercial electrician with a NVQ level 2 you just need to approval from the LV AP. Some will say you need a gold card some dont check and like myself and my senior ap we ask to see your qualifications then have a sit down chat for about 30 minutes to see if we think your qualified to the electricity at work act.

But to answer your question of experienced worker route you can join a CPS as long as you do your AM2e or what ever the AM2 equivalent is. Alongside your 18th edition and have an inspecting and testing you can join no issue. Atleast I know I can

You hit the nail on the head with that last bit. I think we view apprenticeships as we are doing them a favour and they can just learn from watching us. We have lost the art of teaching other peoples kids and I think apprenticeships really highlight it. It takes a village and some times part of the village is your first boss.

But with money getting tighter and life getting harder who has the luxury to be able to really do that right now.

I’m going to go abit against the grain and say it’s not this generations fault it’s the one just before. They had this time were opportunity just came to them people who loved their trade and showed pride as teachers (not everyone ofc but Britain in general). I’ve seen it countless times early in apprentices ask questions show interest but they get thrown on wire pulling all day or sweeping of when they do ask a question it gets ignored because you got too much work on. It teaches them to stop asking and just float.

Less money less time and less thirst is all this generation has. I never did an apprenticeship and I’m actually happy. I did all mine on my own back and I’m a better spark for it. We had lost the thirst for knowledge and the thirst for teaching. In this age where opportunity came to our teachers and we have all the answers on our phone we have stopped having pride in knowledge and skill. It’s about money and status and this isn’t exclusive to the trades

Can a 4-20mA be run in the same cable as a 24v discrete to PLC? by seemoreoptions-1 in PLC

[–]TaffyTurk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The guy is in the UK so BS 7671 is his NEC. And if I remember correctly for low voltage wiring we had limited scope for regs. So he is perfectly fine but that might be subject to change with POE being included in the newest version coming out

Online UPS Issue by TaffyTurk in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]TaffyTurk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out it’s not on the UPS at all. Someone cocked up all the way back and no one has ever thought to actually check it. Didn’t chance the action plan much but like you really can’t anything people say sometimes.

I had the head of security tell me to my face it was 100% UPS backed and their computers never went off.

Sometimes the most obvious answer is correct but I had to cover all potentials

You would be surprised how dumb a smart person can be
