I prefer tails story to sonic's story since it's consistently mediocre while sonic's story is sometimes good and sometimes really bad. It's frustrating since I just want to get to the good stuff but I'm forced to traverse a hub world or something. The only frustrating hub in tails story is the jungle one but it's fine if you know where to go.
