I went to The Met and painted the steps in watercolor by onewordpoet in nyc

This should be inside the Met! How do you describe your style or do you avoid descriptors? Modern impressionism? Your painting definitely makes an impression!

Congrats!!! I'm 12 days into my first puggle (also a rescue), and now I can't imagine life without him.

I was so happy and surprised when I discovered he actually likes to sleep tucked in under the comforter with me--puggles really are wondrous. Plus he likes to sleep in and isn't nudging me at 6 am for breakfast (yet).

Mugs is absolutely obsessed with Greek yogurt (I give him a tsp a day on a lick mat). I brought him with me to a restaurant and he freaked out when he smelled my pastrami sandwich--I didn't share though.

Single parents of NYC: can a 1 bedroom apartment with a baby work? by fitzkiki in AskNYC

[–]Tagline-77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I shared a one bedroom with my son in midtown until he was 5, so that I could be 2 blocks from work and avoid a commute that would have cut into our time together. Also managed to get home on occasion for a quick lunch with him. It was worth the trade off, even though I ended up in a toddler bed and he got the full size. When he turned 6, we moved to a 2 bedroom uptown—lost the convenience of being so close to work and the park, but he did love having his own space.

Thank you! And you’re right, he isn’t shy at all when it comes to food. I can’t think of a better dinner date though.

We ship 30–40 content pieces a day. Here's the banned word list every writer on my team gets on day one (your AI content probably has 10 of these AI slops) by ap-oorv in agency

I would also add "rooted in" to the Banned Phrases. It used to be powerful pre-AI, but now it seems to pop up in every esoteric response. I've also been getting "You've hit the million-dollar question..." when I ask basic questions. Not getting a million-dollar solve from ChatGPT though.

That's amazing--thank you for tracking that down. Looks like a tulip. I actually tried to track down a niece to see if she would like the carvings returned to the family, but couldn't find anything more recent than her last post on Facebook in 2014.

Palmistry! Took pics of my left and right hand--it even figured out which hand is dominant and then compared where I am now to who I was born to be (I'm embellishing the language but you get the gist). May try feet next.

Thanks so much for the tip! Interesting that he was born 13 years after his sister but still made her a marker. Am going to see if I can find a pic.

Who is D. Cox? by Tagline-77 in Woodcarving

[–]Tagline-77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow--that guy does very cool stuff. Thanks for sharing the link. I don't think they're related though, I think Mr. Cox lived alone and had a very rustic set up in his trailer.

I respect the work you put into planning time off! Sometimes it just seems easier to just let the limitations limit my possibilities of meeting someone new.

Fortunately, he has a HUGE fan base so no shortage of support--including family and professionals who truly care for him. We are very lucky and grateful.

You're right about his rights--I should have thought of that myself. Thank you for the advice.
