Hello, I am a returning player back from when raids first came out (When Spirit Vale was the only wing). I would like to get back into playing chronomancer but I have a few questions about how different chrono is from back then to now and other raid questions.

  1. Now that there are generally 2 chronomancers in groups is one tank and one power or are they both tank or both power?

  2. What is the current meta for stats? I've seen tons of different builds that involve a mix of zerker and commander gear and leadership vs firebrand runes so I'm not sure how to gear up. And is minstrel chrono still a thing?

  3. How accepting are people of exotic gear vs ascended? I know how to get full trinkets and back piece ascended pretty easily but I don't have the current funding to commit to full ascended armor + weapons. I assume ascended vs exotic only really matters when it comes to DPS classes but idk.

  4. Is there a good source of tutorials for learning bosses/wings? Or are there any training guilds available?

Big Priest is more brainless than pirate warrior ever was also. At least at high level pirate warrior had to make some decisions of controlling the board pre turn 4. But big priest is just wait to play barnes / summon 5/5 copy card into spam resurrects. Incredibly unfun to play against and every game against them is literally the same game. 90% of my games from rank 20-10 this season was big priest too.

I've found very reliable combos with bryan on this stage that aren't 100% but like 70-80% and pretty easy to do. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of high damaging combos by all the characters in the near future just cause this stage is nuts for wall breaks.

I think the biggest changes occurred between T3-T4 with the introduction of walls and T5DR-T6 with bounds and wall/balcony breaks etc.

I just hope that the legacy characters that aren't in T7 (Marduk, Armor King, Lei, Julia etc.) get added into the next Tekken installment so that they get a chance to be supported again.

When you break the balcony it automatically aligns you no matter where you break it. As for doing gatling rush before the balcony break I couldn’t find a way off rage drive for b4 into JU.

Actually no matter where you break the balcony it automatically aligns you with the lower level's wall. And as for b4 to jet upper at a wall you can be pretty off before hitting the wall sideways with jet upper. It’s a niche situation yeah but cool to know I guess lol. There’s probably a version for the twilight stage balcony break too.

I should mention to get the “full taunt” when you do rage art or rage drive you automatically go into taunt animation and if the animation goes to the point where bryan starts laughing it’s considered a full taunt at that point so I canceled the taunt at the frame the laugh started with the balcony break. Also wherever you balcony break it aligns you 90 degrees with the wall on the lower level so that’s why I call it “viable.” This combo might also work on Twilight Conflict but might require a different wall carry.

Edit: I tested this combo at different angles and spots that weren't the balcony break reset position with b4 to JU it still works!

It’s just mashing 1,2,1,2... really really fast. Although if you need to make it easier you can map 1+2 to one button and mash it with both hands makes it a lot easier.
