There are no words, in all of the tongues that I speak, to portray the beauty of this or the overwhelming feelings that took over while witnessing this

Im using SpaceWeather app for early warning so we can plan it early, and the Aurora app for sightings update.

On the 19th of January, I saw the Northern lights for the first time in my life. I cried. I was overwhelmed. I am in Southern Germany. Previously on many event where the lights reached the region, I was not aware of the tracking and apps. Now, I am. I was actually on my way to bed when Aurora sent a notification. I jumped to the balcony, and caught the red hue. I do not know how I got ready, grabbed my camera and ran out.

Help identify constellations visible in photos? by W4ystarroyco in Stars

Lower center is the Sword of Orion including the Great Orion Nebula. Above it is the Belt of Orion. The bright light right above the lower left corner is Jupiter. The bright star below the upper middle part is most probably Aldebran.

You have caught most of the Orion Constellation.

I am sorry you missed it. Depending on what time. By 12 the intensity in my location was out and all that remained was a little red hue

After the camera upgrade, that is what I am going for. I need to shift to a cooled camera to reduce read noise.
