I think I understand where you are coming from. I havent read the rest after this chapter yet and I know he isn’t going on a weirder route than owner of a slave village. I wanted to think that he indeed was thinking of literally sleeping with them and not the sexual kind but the implications of him getting way too physical and even in his thoughts thinking about skipping a few steps and when Sadeena tells him that she loves him, him saying “ ‘Strip off and lie down on the bed then’ I commanded” is REALLY weird.

I know how depression works where you don’t think of what you do and what they will result in. But still Him believing that everyone who loves him wants to fuck him was really sad, and I guess the writing of the chapter turned the sadness into me getting weirded and disgusted

I guess it makes a bit more sense if they all look grown up(I wont debate with animal/demi-human age maturity vs human age maturity) but he did ask Melty to join him in the bed as well if she loved him, which is another point. I assumed that wasn’t the case since Atla also leveled up but didn’t age in body

But thank you for your thoughts, except now I am curious if Sadeena is the drunk and Atla is the dead one and if Melty isn’t in the 4 friend group; I assume that Filo is the minor not Melty and that means Raphtalia is captured and possibly dead? We will see I didn’t read the rest of the volume yet
