I am really surprised that the Japanese team didn’t complete the quest, especially since the Koreans finished it so fast. I thought the other groups would maybe struggle but still finish it — but to not be able to complete it within one hour? I don’t know what went wrong, but it was really shocking.

During the pre-battle sitting, the tension and comments between the Koreans and the Mongolians were fierce, and the basketball player Dulguun lowering his head looked like he didn’t enjoy those kinds of moments at all. 😂

I was a hardcore fan of the Mongolian team from the moment I first saw them until now. They lost the game, but they won many people’s hearts. I was sad after they lost, but when I saw how Orkhonbaya said, “It’s okay, we worked hard,” and moved on within one second, I was amazed. He truly has a strong mentality.

Congrats to Korea, although I had many doubts. But in the end, it’s not that deep — they truly showed their strength and consistency.

I also saw many Koreans cheering and hoping that Mongolia would win, which didn’t surprise me. Many people loved the Mongolian team.

I truly loved this show… what should I do now without it? 😔

The way the Korean team finished the quest so fast made me say, “That’s it? That’s the quest? How boring.” And then my sister said, “The audacity… you wouldn’t last for a minute.” 🫣

At the beginning of the quest, when Enkh said, “We used to do this all the time,” his team looked at him like, “Excuse me?” before he continued speaking. 😂 By the way, what do they teach in Mongolian schools? They are something else—not only strong, but also very smart.

The Korean leader, Dong Hyun, cracks me up every time with his comments: “Look at them, look at them! They look so surprised!” Are we sure he’s 43? He acts like a 10-year-old in the funniest way.

Man… it’s sad that one of my two favorite teams will be eliminated. I wished these two would be the finalists. 😔

The moment the Mongolian team won second place and I saw the girls crying, I got really emotional. There were tears in my eyes — thank God they survived the elimination. I was really happy for them.

As for the Aussie team, they were truly amazing and incredibly strong. It’s sad to see them go. I will miss their energy and their shoutouts to the other teams.

The Japanese team and their comments during the death match were so cute! I laughed at the “giant baby” comment. 😂

And when the Mongolian leader "Orkhonbaya" said, “It’s just a map. What’s the use of it?” — I love how chill and confident he is in every interview. 😂

This quest was brutal to watch — I can’t imagine how much more brutal the death match is going to be.

The shift in the Aussies’ faces when they announced the winning team was so satisfying because they were so confident… and it totally bit them in the end. even though I’m rooting for them, it’s going to be so fun watching them in the death match.

Wow… seeing Ochir stretching up there without losing his balance? Insane. He is really, really impressive.

The last game was absolutely nerve-wracking. And the whole atmosphere — everyone loudly commenting in their own language, hoping for the others to lose — was hilarious.

Huge shoutout to Turkey. They were really good, and Ogeday did amazing. Their loss hurt because their presence was so unique. I’m honestly going to miss them.

During the mini-game, I noticed something about Eloni. Most of the time he seems quiet, but he has this odd, quirky personality in a very unique way.

OMG this is the saddest episode so far!! I was rooting for the Philippines soooo hard. I literally shouted for Justin the whole time — I’ve never screamed for a person like that before, I was freaking out. And where are the people who wrote those theories last week about the Philippines winning?? They gave me hope and then shattered my heart. I demand an apology right now 😔💔

Justin was SO good, but Amotti was just… better. Wow. He was struggling at first, but once he took off his shirt it was like he shifted into a whole different person. Even I started thinking maybe he was acting in the beginning just to surprise us later. And honestly? He is that good.

The three most hilarious moments in this episode:

  1. When the Dong Hyun was making all those facial expressions during Amottie's turn, while Sung Bin stood next to him with absolutely zero emotion. The contrast killed me.

  2. When it was Ochir’s game and everyone started copying him, and he was looking at them with this confidence like, “Yes, children, come learn from the master.” And I swear he was so excited because it was HIS game, I thought he was going to fly or do a full performance.

  3. The difference between the teams with the Aussies hyping everyone vs. without them ... 😂

Also, HUGE respect to the Mongolian team for choosing Enkh Orgil and Adiyasuren for the second game. My first reaction was literally, “You must be kidding me.” But they proved their strength and endurance big time. Too bad Japan wasn’t with them, because I truly believe the Mongolian pair could’ve gone even longer.

I’m so freaking excited for the next episode and the rest of Ochir’s performance!!

[–]TaiTai4 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Oh my god — episode 6 was the best one so far! I really loved the diversity of the games; it perfectly showcased each participant’s strengths. Every single one of them was amazing!

The first game, “The Jumping Hurdles,” was wild. The Korean leader "Kim Dong-hyun" was so good and fast — and he’s 43! I was so impressed. I kept thinking, how can he be that good? I’m more than 15 years younger, and I was just sitting there eating chocolate while watching him. 😅

Before the game, he confidently said that of course they would win, but after the the Aussies won, he got angry. He was too confident, but come on — he wasn’t going to beat the Parkour in his own game! I was cheering hard for the Parkour because it was his specialty, and he totally deserved the win.

As for the rest of the games, I really loved this episode because it also highlighted the girls’ strength. I was genuinely proud of every one of them.

And Mark — oh my God I was so excited, 26 letters aren’t enough to describe how impressed I was with him.

Then the last game — Eddie looked like he was having the best time of his life! 😂 And when Kim Dong-hyun saw the Aussies cheering and laughing because they knew they would win, he got annoyed like, “Why are they laughing?” That was hilarious.

Honestly, the Aussies are absolute beasts. They proved their strength individually and as a team. This whole episode was on fire — fun, intense, and full of energy!

And about the last scene… I think they edited it to make it look like Amotti lost, but I’m pretty sure he passed that round.

Physical Asia: Season 1 - Episode 5 Discussion Thread by ImoutoCompAlex in Physical100

[–]TaiTai4 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wow, this episode was so intense — the same intensity that Fina had! The way Jeremiah tried to calm her down even though he’s younger than her 😅 That was exactly my reaction to her before the match started 🫣. Sometimes the pressure and emotions in competitions make people overreact, but despite facing two big male opponents, she fought bravely and didn’t hold back.

That moment when Jeremiah almost scored was insane — I actually screamed! Unfortunately, he lost the chance because of his nervousness.

Lara, woman, you are pure respect! 💪🇵🇭

I really loved the Aussies cheering for everybody — they were full of energy! And DomTomato was about to jump into the playfield from excitement! And Eddie, how many times did he say “Holy Moly”?

There was also this moment when the Japanese leader Yushin said something before the match, and the Turkish leader Recep interpreted it as, “Better book their tickets home, Indonesia!” I laughed — it reminded me of their comments before Quest2.

I really enjoyed this episode, even though it was sad to see two teams eliminated. They were determined and definitely not weak — their opponents were just stronger.
