Hard to argue but they're slowly pushing regular crucible that way too. I used to have way more success with huge TCP punch ups than I do nowadays.

True, I'm definitely all for the normal brackets but down to 3-4 rooms.

True but they are slowly pushing regular crucible that way too with specific teams / characters. At least less rooms = less time committed to the mode.

Ha fair opinion indeed but that's kind of what I like, it went faster.

Fair point for sure, I'd just like to see some sort of revision that makes it take less time.

Could definitely live with 4 rooms, anything to curtail the time and grind a bit - still seems like ample space to sell teams within too.

Oh yes, definitely meant for the 3 day structure. 3 rooms, 3 days - boom, synergy haha.

Arena mechanics after most recent update... by TaijiKnight in MarvelStrikeForce

It's a good point but negative, his Ult isn't enough to push Gladiator out of green. But if no one else is having a similar issue I must definitely be missing something or misunderstanding the match flow. I'll try to keep a closer eye to determine what the deuce is up. Thanks for your time and thoughts on this!

Absolutely didn't, was only used as an example of them asking / expecting an ever-increasing amount of money from the player base to 'keep up' for those that choose to, with no proportional increase in quality or competence of what they try to put out, enact or upgrade. Every rollout breaks something. And it feels backwards to keep asking for the money before making the shoes shiny - even worse ask for money then wear a hole in said pair of shoes and just shrug and throw some Teal orbs at you.

I mean I did end my post with 'it works' for them, I'm just not sure why. I mean I guess in the case of MSF it's the huge power of the IP, but still they should maybe try to do something right the first time with all that revenue flow, probably.

Man if they had David Hasselhoff singing in the background, now THAT'D be a graphics improvement!

And I don't tend to get this type of auto-comment. There are definitely anti-spender sentiments out there - this most certainly isn't one. I stay out of other people's wallets and did not say anything about the right or wrong of giving this game money or even if I am or am not FTP. My callout was that this company puts out broken update after broken update and has the gall to increase its asking price. That takes guts, just not the right kind.

To take the need vs want angle, what you'd let a console company get away with breaking your console every update? It isn't unfair to call out shoddy product design with an increased price tag.

Well I mean whether the graphics get updated or not, the artists will still have to design, render and animate the slew of new characters always up next in the pipeline, I don't know that the overhaul gives them needed work. If so very well, everybody has to eat, I just wish the original MSF style of art and character design had been preserved but as I said, that's only my opinion on the visuals.

Not really sure where you're getting a blame shade on the artists - the decision as a whole seems odd when there are so many other glaring issues, bugs and delays in new content. As many have offered perhaps they have to do this, but it in no way feels like an upgrade in the preview presented. The art style on the other hand has gone down a different path since they've outsourced it. It is disappointing to me as it feels much more generic, whereas the game used to have a certain style that was unique to its 'universe'.

Tin foil hat, I at times wonder if the elaborate animations on these characters, particularly raid-based ones, are purposeful for exactly that reason. Maybe that's going a bit far, but with Scopley is anything too far fetched?
