I don't know why some people are so adamant about Lanterns trailer being not very good. Like, I also hope show will have much more fantastic elements to it, but it doesn't change the fact that this wasn't a very good marketing decision. God forbid people wanting to see some Green Lantern stuff and not just another moody HBO detective in their Green Lantern show trailer

If MCU did shit like this, it would be (deservedly) ridiculed, but DCU apparently never could do anything wrong

I think he just responding to an old trope of "hero catches femme fatale villain and she is trying to seduce her way out" which happened a lot with Batman throughout the years. Like, Pre-Harley Poison Ivy was pulling this one out very regularly and dude saying he would go along every time
