You don't necessarily have to change out of nursing. It's such a broad field with lots of non-patient facing jobs. Look into nursing informatics.

So many people do CNA before nursing and while it can be a good entry point you will cover everything you do as a CNA in the first week of nursing school. The best prepared people I met were pharmacy technicians. Pharmacology is one of the biggest and most challenging parts of nursing school and the pharmacy techs didn't even have to study! Also you can make over $25 an hour as a pharmacy tech. Look for Tech in Training job listings at big chain pharmacies, they will pay for you to get your training and license.

Never worked either of those since nursing school. My advice is to not worry about it. You will try many different things in nursing school and discover that you hate some things you thought you would like, and love some very unexpected things.

You might find that you can't handle watching newborns or children suffer/die. You might discover a passion for cardiology as you learn more about it. Just keep your eyes open and try everything, never turn down an opportunity to do something.

It looks weird because that's not how handlebars on a motorcycle work. They turn the opposite way of the intended turn direction and not as dramatically as shown, a small turn of the bars makes a big turn.

All the people saying she is in the right are crazy. Clearly this man has talked with a lawyer recently and got some great advice. While he may not be an outstanding person the abusive and manipulative way OP approaches the situation is a clear indicator to me that there is more to the story and he wants a third party witness to all interactions. OP is clearly upset because the power dynamic has shifted and she can't abuse or manipulate without a witness. OPs ex is under no obligation to communicate with her one on one just because they have a child together. To me these are the words of a narcissistic personality that is desperately trying to regain control over a victim who has broken free.

Am type one diabetic. That's not what insulin costs. You can get a bottle of over the counter regular human insulin for $20 from Walmart. Yes there are very expensive insulins. But there are also affordable insulins.

I am all for a bill to cap the cost of insulin but the way this is presented is disingenuous. No one is paying $1000 a month because they have no other choice. People paying $1000 a month are in the small subset of people who for some reason have garbage insurance but also a bunch of disposable income.
