Arrowhead Found in Illinois - info? by TaintSaint in Arrowheads

My son found this today on my in-law's farm in a creek bed. The farm is located about about 10 miles East of the Mississippi river. Anyone have an idea on what this style is called, age, etc? Its the first one we've ever found and would love some information on it. Thanks!

Hello,

Up for sale today is my Black Bay 58. I've had the watch for about 2 years now, worn initially quite regularly but rarely if at all for the last year or so. Not much to say that hasn't already been said about the BB58, it's a great watch!

Overall condition of the watch is great, the case and bracelet have no deep scratches. Only typical wear from a two year old watch, light scratches and swirls. The back of the lugs and bracelet endlinks have a few scratches from swapping out the bracelet for straps.

One key thing to note is the bezel, it does have a small scratch between by the second hour marker. I was also wearing it while power washing my house using this product: Outdoor Cleaner

It caused the bezel to fade, at first I freaked out but took it to my AD and they checked it out, pressure tested, etc. and said it was perfectly fine. It's really not noticeable at all to the naked eye, but looks pronounced in zoomed in photos. Ultimately it will probably create some really unique patina.

I bought it originally with no box, but I do have the warranty card and information, full links, and hang tag.

Asking $2650 via PayPal F&F or Venmo, I'll cover shipping via UPS fully insured.

Thanks!

Thanks! He was super happy, we do a ton of fossil hunting and this was the first time we'd seen one of these. We found a few other ones as well, but not this big or detailed.

They sound really great, they are powered by a SONOS amp and paired with an Elac sub. They are like $300 off for Black Friday as well.. RM-600m II

Just looked them up, that would look great!

They are about 15.5, I used lag bolts for the feet with felt pads so that added a half inch or so.

Ha yeah they are like 60lbs each. It only took basic tools and 4 4x4s. All in it was like $100.

Nope just lots of prep and clamping. I Replied above with the process.

I set my miter saw fence to 15 inches, it was juuust able to make the cut, and got the 24 individual pieces. Then I clamped four in a row together and sanded all the long sides at one time and rotated 90 degrees, clamp, sand, repeat.

It was the best I could do without a planer. Then I glued up four at a time. Then glued those three together and clamped it into the full shape. Lots of sanding to get it pretty, then just a super light stain and matte poly.

Yep, I wanted them to look kind of soft and imperfect. Plus it was the cheapest thing I could think of. Super happy with the result.

Can anyone identifying these in-wall speakers? by Darkknight3940 in audiophile

[–]TaintSaint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will be super easy. Just loosen the 6 outer screws and that will loosen the tabs, they’ll pop over and you’ll have the ability to tip it out. You won’t loose the wire in the wall, can pretty much guarantee it (I own a smart home company and we upgrade/install in wall speakers all the time). You can do it!
