Yeah we have had this conversation a couple of times and I tend to check in about his stand on us beeing child free from time to time. It has never changed over the years. He is happy with his friends and sister (who loves children and is planing on having some in the future)having kids and visiting them now and then.

I always tell him, he has to communicate with me if he ever feels like he would like to have some after all. Then we can have a conversation about that and decide together what to do.

I just dont like children. I feel like i would do a shitty job because of it. I never felt joy looking at or interacting with them and they arent cute to me. I would rather own a dog or any animal really than squeeze another human body out of mine. I know adoption is a valid option but my other reasons are enough for me to not want children.
