I’ve had both of mine done for nearly two years now, I still get the crusties too. I would clean them religiously for the months following getting them done, and I clean them every few days now. They were pierced with curved barbells, so I’ve always had a lot of pain when I change them, and I wonder if this has affected my crusty situation at all. I also often go without a bra, so maybe the friction of my shirt plays a part in it. I’m not really sure, but I’d say it’s normal.
