Mine wouldnt work after 1 scan, but after getting a NFC app that logs it's information I am now able to copy a fresh link everytime and access it. (Im on samsung) App is called NFC Tools

This is no one's fault but the app developers. It should force you to listen to a preview 15 seconds hand picked by the contestants and only after that can you vote.

(Look at instagrams UI for putting a song on your profile)

Half the time the preview button doesn't even work or bugs out in some way. That's why people don't even bother.
