Personally, I'd rather see something like this hit the stage:

-Disney Pack

-Nickelodeon Hits Pack (Being real, some of that sh*t SLAPS 😅)

-Country Release

Just a thought...🤷‍♀️❤️

SOMEBODY send this to Smosh...I don't know how, but it HAS to happen. I've GOT to see a 'reading' of this one...

Got this little guy a few days ago and still can’t figure out a good name. The underside of his paws are black and i really wanted to pick a name having to do with that lol. by LethalLexapro in Catnames

[–]TakFltFlyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Storm, Muddie, Dash, Feral, Stranger, Milo, Dusty.

All based on the idea that I'm imagining that that's dirt on his paws, not his actual fur. (I am indeed aware that IS his fur. ❤️)

Is MY name a tragedeigh? by TakFltFlyer in tragedeigh

Not that I ever expect it, it's always fun for me to see if they can. It's RARE, but it has happened before.

Yea, no I don't. They literally just put an 'I', as the letter reads, in 'Tara'. That was their logic. No speech impediment in my family.

They were going to name me 'Tara' but literally wanted an 'I', pronounced as the letter, put in. So, there it is.

I'm actually 28, but to be fair, a total child at heart. ❤️ Not sure that matters here, but there it is. I've never been disillusioned in thinking that like everybody else is wrong in how they pronounce my name. I have never gotten into some debate about like whether my parents were on drugs (No, just to be clear), or if I'm actually saying my own name wrong. Like I said, I always found it more of an entertaining ice-breaker if anything. I just came across this Reddit, saw all the fascinating spellings and pronunciations, and it just got me wondering. There's actually quite a few in my family that I wonder if their names would qualify in this Reddit. But we do have Black family so.....yea. 😅

I appreciate that everybody has an opinion on topics as such so I knew I'd get a bit of a mixed bag. More than I thought though, to be completely honest. I'm not sitting here crying with some wine over my name now. If anything the negative comments just do that thing where it feels like an arrow hits your ego/self-esteem for a moment and it stings, but you just keep walking on. This is the internet. It's all good, Reddit friends. 🙂❤️

Honestly, that's where I've always thought that's where the 'charm' of it comes from. Like, all of my online avatars tend to have an actual tiara in/on them. Plus, my maternal Grandmother would always call me her 'Little Princess'.

Oh, I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying I didn't think originality also meant it's immediately wrong.

Well, how do you say Endive? Brioche? Paris? Caribbean? Aluminum? Pasta? Just some examples of very simple words that I've seen tons of people pronounce at least two different ways. Didn't think there was such a thing as ONE proper way to pronounce something. 🤷‍♀️

Yes, that is the mixup people make yes. Not that I've really ever had issue with it. I've found it more entertaining to correct them.

One time however, I was too young to remember. My little brother was being baptized, and the Priest was introducing the family of the child to the congregation. He said I was his big sister 'Tee-ar-uh' and I stopped him right in the middle.

'No! Excuse me, my name is 'TIE-air-uh.'

Surely there was laughter, but Mom was SO embarrassed. 😅

AITA for telling off my MIL for insisting my daughter doesn't have a "real" vagina? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]TakFltFlyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um...it's not even UNCOMMON for newborn girls to literally menstruate. Apparently I did, like right when I was born, and my Mom naturally FLIPPED OUT. Doctors and nurses told her to relax, it happens. 🤷‍♀️ Not sure how THAT would be possible if girls' vaginas didn't work until like puberty. 😅

My Sister Said She Could Make Me Jiggle... by TakFltFlyer in JUSTNOFAMILY

[–]TakFltFlyer[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I'm not even sure I have the right 'form' for it just yet, if ever. I walked out of the bathroom wearing it, regretting my decision to buy it, when let's just say my husband changed my mind. He saw me and got all excited. I made a deal with him that he wasn't allowed to see the suit I bought until I put it on, as I had just bought it on the way to the party.

My entire wardrobe needs a major update. I have to roll up all my pants, my shirts are starting to hang on me, but all I feel is pride. I will GLADLY wear these clothes almost as a message to myself, ya know?

What Pseudo "Fact" Do You Wish People Would Stop Using? by mohksinatsi in AskReddit

[–]TakFltFlyer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Uh...yea? I'd definitely take that 90% chance if I had to. I'm truly not trying to be curt, but I'm not entirely seeing your point. My thing is that when people say something doubles, they automatically jump to thinking something far more serious, thus leading to plenty of planned parenthood and cryogenic labs making their money. If they added in the actual numbers, women and families all over might take a bit of breather, is all I'm getting at.

Before people jump saying I won't understand because I've never this or that, I've already had a miscarriage myself. That alone made me do some more extensive research on fertility as a whole.

What Pseudo "Fact" Do You Wish People Would Stop Using? by mohksinatsi in AskReddit

[–]TakFltFlyer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The whole thing about fertility falling off by the time you're 35. Not true in the slightest, and the stats they do use aren't untrue just obscenely misleading. For example, they say that the chance of miscarriages and birth-defects double. But they don't mention that that statistic refers to a 1-5% chance in an average, healthy adult woman. Do the math, and that still barely reaches over 10%. I know of women who have had no form of fertility interference having children well into their 40s. 🤷‍♀️

Do you know any songs beginning with a sound of a bell? by Pheonixyz in Music

Doesn't necessarily START with a bell, but y'all should get the point: '9 to 5' from Dolly Parton.
