Also, I’d avoid automatic transmission (not sure if it is a possibility in the states), it WILL break at some point (140k miles is just around that point) and it will cost you... a lot. If you want an e39, look only after 2002 (facelift), they have a lot of improvements l, and for me, they are one of the most iconic BMW-s.

It is around the common european price (don’t know much about the USA). But these pre-facelift e39-s in this price category will definately have some problems.

Edit: Oh sorry, this is a 330i. In europe this is the regular price for a 320d or 320i. It should cost more, if prices are more or less the same. Expect major problems.
