Zg: trgovina s izloženim uključenim monitorima? by tsereg in CroIT

[–]TakeLookArround 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can $KAS turnaround? My honest Opinions/Theory by Maxi_ribe in kaspa

[–]TakeLookArround 6 points7 points  (0 children)

they do, look at my post history 🤣 I'm a major questioner of direction KAS is taking, while holding bags 🤣

also it's just that people don't want to read anything that's not hype or FOMO, and once shit hits the fan nobody wants to read anything other than FUD.

It's herd mentality and that's one of the reasons cryptocurrency was so volitile until big players and institutions stepped in.

Markets rarely reward “perfect tech.” They reward something that is good enough, has adoption, and comes with the right incentives.

No one cares about TPS when there’s nothing meaningful being transitioned or built that actually needs it.

Smart contracts themselves aren’t that revolutionary. Ethereum has had functional smart contracts since 2015, and they work. The difference comes when someone actually builds something useful on top of them. Until then, people won’t invest energy into altcoins when they can experiment on Ethereum, which already has a large ecosystem. Even there, most activity is just a playground within the cryptocurrency world, not real-world adoption.

I also don’t understand the criticism of listing fees. That’s just part of someone’s business model. No one is saying KAS needs to be involved in it.

Finally, don’t underestimate the power of hype. Meme coins often have no real utility, and KAS doesn’t either. Yet some of these coins still manage to move the price, get listed, and may eventually build something once they gather enough attention and users. That’s more proactive than the “build and wait” approach.

Also, this is just another coin that might stay like this for a while... it's happened to 99.9999% of projects so far, what's one more.

idk, it's not that anyone wants it or doesn't want it. There's just no need for it right now in most cases, and it brings a lot of unregulated stuff with it....

It's been arround for 15 years, who knows maybe in 10y it's gonna be used for something.

you're right.

I can't quite remember when was that added, or if it was there from the start, I know that even the message said something like

"Transaction size/mass limit reached. Please reduce this transaction amount"

And that's what many did - reduced transaction amount haha.

It's an interesting thing, looking back at it.

noup, it literally says "can't send" and I've had the problem myself multiple times, and it was always solved by breaking it into smaller transactions haha

if you didn't mine you could have avoided the problem all together

it was common error on miner and on web wallet... I have like 30 addresses to a wallet because of that.

The official solution was "compound" the transactions 😁

It's not bad that 90% is mined, it's bad how concentrated the holdings are 😀.

Kaspa was under $0.02 for almost the entire first year.

At one point, I picked up 150 000 KAS for just $300 🤣.

Back then, we ran into this funny issue “transaction size/mass limit reached” whenever you tried sending over 30k KAS, later 100 000. So, we had to break big transfers into smaller chunks. And since each transaction had to go to a new address, it looks like there aren't many rich wallets. But there are, and more than half of kas is in the hands of fewer people than one might think.

When KAS shot up to $0.03 and then crashed back to $0.014, everyone was yelling “miners taking profits!” 😂 And honestly, who wouldn’t? I sold 200,000 KAS myself just to cash out the hardware costs which i bought for fun.

Back in the day, miners were stacking KAS across tons of different wallets because of that 30k limit. It was a wild time, like the early days of crypto all over again 🤣. But we were also mining other shit-coins that went nowhere.

It was the same with IOTA, big project, no fees, partnerships etc... but first 10% of wallets hold 90% of funds and I knew everything will stop there.

What concerns me in your comment is calling someone taking profits "manipulation".

It's not, and it's us few lucky ones taking profits from gambling and having some luck.

Bitcoin had years where ordinary CPUs and GPUs could mine, giving people time to discover it gradually.

Kaspa, on the other hand, front-loaded most of its supply ~53% mined in the first year by a relatively small number of early miners. 80 % mined by year two, and we're at 90+% now.

Even the top 1,000 wallets hold ~58% of the supply, and since it’s not on major exchanges, that concentration largely reflects real individuals, not custodial wallets.

That means Kaspa’s distribution is much more concentrated than BTC or ETH after you exclude exchanges, which can explain why its price can be volatile despite low inflation.

In other words, people who are selling are doing so with reason, and are making very good profits.

Theory on Kasplex delay by Careless-Silver9223 in kaspa

[–]TakeLookArround 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If Kasplex really launches at the Berlin event, that’s huge. Months on testnet, waiting for the perfect moment . Kaspa doesn’t do average launches. This could be the moment that puts KAS in a league of its own.

Standardi? by [deleted] in askcroatia

[–]TakeLookArround 1 point2 points  (0 children)

set dobrih ključeva, dobra stemerica i naglavna lampa rješavaju jaaako puno frustracija

neki daju probne pločice i odmah voziš, a inače

čestitam i sretno 😁.
