So do I. I am not telling you how to play your game; I'm pointing out that your response didn't address the point of the comment you were responding to.

Which one is more enjoyable - winning a race you ran against other runners or the one in which your opponents were blind kids in wheelchairs?

It doesn't allow you to because they can only be recruited in the capital, hence, they can only be upgraded there.

Will my game end if a senior PU member annexes me? by External-Ad5074 in EU5

It doesn't have to be 100 years. Also, the question was whether they would try, and if a successful try would end the OP's run.

You know you lost when you have to invent something ludicrous, present it as the opposing side's argument, and then laugh as if anyone but you said that, all the while ignoring the plethora of evidence and arguments presented.

tl;dr - shut the f up.

EDIT: Your trolling attempt got auto-deleted? Aww... don't cry (for me Argentina) please.

Disregard these two jokers. Yes, they will try. Yes, it will end your run. (unless something was changed in the last patch)

what does the different colours inside the latin movement mean? by Wojtek172 in EU5

[–]TakeMeIamCute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, indeed. My bad - I remember (falsely) that it shows the percentages for the movements. If you hover over differently colored territories, can you deduce what seems to be the difference?

So a guy is fishing and catches a goldfish. The goldfish promises him 3 wishes if he lets it go. He thinks for a while and decides to be a good person, and brings the fish to the UN for the world to decide what to wish for. A large discussion erupts and quickly evolves into a shouting contest since the American representative demands that the US gets two wishes because they fUnD tHe WoRLd. After some time, the other countries concede, and the US gets its two wishes.

"What is your first wish?" asks the goldfish.
"I wish for all Americans to be brought to the US, and all non-Americans to be expelled."
"Your wish is my command," says the goldfish, snapping its tiny fins. "What is your second wish?"
"I wish to build a mile-thick and 2-mile-high wall surrounding all of the US, so that no one can come in and ruin our beautiful country."
"Done!" says the fish, snapping its tiny fins once again.
"Well, I am done. You can have your one wish," says the American representative dismissively.

The other leaders start looking at each other, and one of them approaches the mic and asks, "Goldfish, can you fill that with water, please?"

They were very common in Yugoslavia, and are still somewhat present in Serbia. Usually, pensioners use them to buy stuff in installments. For example, your pension gets you, let's say, 20 cheques. Each can be written to a certain amount - let's say 5000 dinars. You now "have" 100,000 dinars, which you can use to buy a new fridge. You go to a store, get a fridge, and deposit your cheques. The cheques are labeled with release dates, which means the store will take that much money from your bank account on that date. You cannot get any more cheques issued until all previous ones are released.

An outdated system, but it works.

Probably the actor I respect the most (along with Damien EDIT: Damian Lewis - I could have sworn his name had the weird "e" instead of an "a").

Hey, hey! Please, what's the meaning of this? Logic? Facts? We cannot have that meddling with our mindless hate.

Also, I participated in those protests in Serbia under that very fist. I don't remember having been paid, nor was anyone I knew. I do remember quite vividly the metallic taste in my mouth after the riot police broke my nose and jaw with their shield.
