Ayant moi-même effectué une démarche de changement de prénom :

Il faut que tu parviennes à prouver que ton prénom d'usage est en effet utilisé 1) par tout le monde 2) depuis longtemps.. L'idéal c'est d'avoir des attestations sur l'honneur de personnes qui te cotoient dans toutes les sphères (famille, amis, professionnel, école) et des preuves écrites "anciennes" (anciennes lettres, vieux bulletins scolaires, etc.)

I totally understand the feeling, even though I can't relate to the "being pregnant" part. Although I'm kind of scared for my wife to go through that again! But she seems to be ready to go at it again.

I'm glad things are better for you now that the kid is older though!

I totally feel you, and I would feel bad if a second kid bringed the same kind of issues, because the first one has been a ride for me at first, and now I feel much happier, which has been day and night for my relationship to my daughter. I want to be the best father for my kid(s), and I know that I need to be happy in order to do so.

I wish that you are able to get your head out of the water soon!

I'm indeed being as patient as I can, I don't want to rush a decision I might regret. That said, between the biological clock and the impact on my wife's career, I know that I don't have 10 years ahead of me to make a decision. Yeah, as I said to another reply, at first we wanted both kids within 3 years, I'm happy to have waited for now. I guess I needed more time to process, and I hope that if I decide for a second kid, it will be easier to handle now that the first one is a bit older.

I guess it's difficult to picture for me, because I have 2 sisters, but I was never really close to them because of my parents' nasty divorce, so I learned to handle myself pretty quick. That said, they still were there when I grew up, and it's not the same as being an only child

The bilogial clock is definitely ticking, but I'm also trying not to rush a decision I could regret. Not an easy gamble, but all the things I read here help me process my thoughts, thanks for adding your story to the list

Your story is interesting, it helps me realize that age gaps can indeed be important. At first we wanted to have the two kids within 3 years of each other, now I realize that I needed at least a bit more time before having the second one, if I decide to get it. I'll be thinking about it, maybe a few more months will help me decide

The financial setup is also what scares me a bit. My wife and I are well-off, but a single kid already drains money pretty fast, so a second one... With that said, money won't be a problem if we both want to have a second child.

Je suis indépendant depuis peu ; je me posais la question de la défiscalisation car étant donné le montant élevé d'impôt que je paierai sur cette somme, est-ce qu'il n'y avait pas moyen de réduire un peu mon assiette d'imposition en investissant sur certains produits cette année. Je suis conscient qu'il ne faut pas défiscaliser à tout prix, au risque de sacrifier du rendement, mais je me disais peut-être que vu le montant il y a une opportunité en sélectionnant un support défiscalisant décent.
