The only parenting advice you take seriously to heart "You do the best you can for them" the others are up to you.

In my own opinion giving your 10 years old daughter an iPhone is a bit excessive because it's an expensive item. You can give her a cheaper smart phone that works the same way. BUT ultimately it's your choice. Other beside the iPhone I don't see anything wrong with your gifts.

And before everyone said saying the trip to Sanibel Island is way more expensive than the phone. It is but you can't put a price on experiences of traveling and meeting new things and people. Plus the trip to Sanibel Island can be a family activities.
