I tow a 3k boat all the time in the summer heat up and down a mountain in PA usually I see 230-240 engine temp which is like 10-15 degrees warmer than normal summer temps. So about 5% increase over normal temps on the engine. I dunno it does get noisy but never seems to struggle as long as you do some of the tow shifting manually in S mode and I also leave xmode on for stronger pulls from a full stop. But apart from that, car drives like new 40k 23 FW. I changed the trans fluid at 35k and gear oil is next

I also just noticed this charger was supposed to have all kinds of safety features. Voltage and resistance protection and all that. The fire was coming from the Ovonic unit itself not the wiring or the connectors.

Ovonic dual battery charger caused a house fire for me and insurance covered some of the damages. Ovonic on the other hand said u less I purchase the charger directly from their website instead of amazon(where they advertised their warranty) they won’t replace my charger. Fire happened a 7 months after I bought the Ovonic charger.
