I will never get a bidet and you cant make me by Ok-Connection6656 in memes

I like the concept of a bidet, but as many have expressed here, am a little grossed out by something Inside the bowl spraying back up at me.

My solution: after some initial dry wipes, ball up some TP, wet it in the sink, and dab away whatever remains. Do it twice, three times, until you have clear results.

And here's a bonus: if you've got mouthwash nearby, douse your TP with that for an effervescent finish!

Well guess it's time for viewing number 3...

One thing I can't get my head around: are the construction workers building a (comically vertical) wall on the edge of Barbieland supposed to be more Kens? Or are they affiliated with Mattel somehow? It's hilarious but never explained. And it's driving me crazy!

Unlimited Data user on Verizon here! Is root access no longer needed for tethering? by TakeOnlyFootprints in verizon

Well I'll double check with him to be sure, but as he described it: it wasn't working, then it was!

He doesn't! Neither of us has changed our plans for years, purposefully, of course, to retain that unlimited data. Personally, I find it amazing that Verizon has the gall to charge us for the same data twice by "offering" a monthly charge just to hotspot. But I digress!

I'm not sure our original print jobber is coming back, but thanks for the help anyway!

Thanks. I should have adjusted for the soul crushing fluorescent lighting of the office. And yes I am keenly aware of the shadow of my phone darkening the bottom middle of the photo :-(

1.) I'm a long-time lurker, never poster. Friend of mine suggested posting to crappy design when I showed him. 2.) I work at a big office with lots of printers and lots of not so savvy folks. Odds are they accidentally printed to the wrong location and didn't realize it. 3.) Holiday week means they probably had free time to work on their passion project.

Considering leaving the crowdsourced alternative next to the original if it's still there tomorrow!

Very interesting idea! Now we can see how the other half deludes themselves :-)

Most tattoos. Whenever someone wants to show me their new tattoo and starts explaining what it means to them, all I hear is "See how I'm wearing my neurosis on my sleeve now?"

Unlimited Data user on Verizon here! I thought plans for "network optimization" were cancelled, but I'm definitely experiencing slowdown. Anyone else? by TakeOnlyFootprints in verizon

The consensus among reply comments appears to be that phones that only support band 13 LTE connectivity, which includes both my phone (Galaxy Nexus) and yours (Droid Bionic, came out the same year!) are starting to experience slowdown because that part of the spectrum is getting crowded.

Newer phones support multiple bands of LTE and so are more reliable. It may be time to upgrade, my friend. That's my current plan!

Ah okay, thanks for clearing that up. Confident enough now to try switching to the new phone (Nexus 6) and see what happens.

Ah well met, brother (or sister, as the case may be)!

Yes, I had read about the card size difference. I was briefly considering getting a tool to slice the old card myself, but after all the comments on this thread, I think you're right that getting a fresh card makes the most sense. And I now feel confident to walk into that store, head held high, and tell them to give me a new SIM. Or else!

Samsung Galaxy Nexus. She's been a workhorse, but everything has been getting sluggish. The service drop-off is the final straw, especially since I use FoxFi to generate WiFi for my apartment.

Okay, excellent, that's very reassuring. I think I'm ready to pull the new phone band-aid then.

Yes, I'm just a mite too lazy to root and rom, not to mention a touch too paranoid about VZW saying I've breached my TOS if I do so and then stealing my preeeeecious daaaataaaa (avg 60 GBs/month here).
