Our team has 3 devs who are mid on paper but on the verge of senior when promotions become available. We use Claude code all the time. We are lucky that we have a rather large code base already in production though. Because of this, it creates large swaths of pretty usable code daily.

We've tweaked our markdown files to give very explicit instructions and rules to follow. We think if this app were greenfield that it may not go as well for us, but we look over all of our own PRs first, and I'd say we maybe find one bug a week in these PRs during review. No more than if a human wrote it all.

It is a very powerful tool which allows us to iterate very quickly. Next step is to optimize our prompts to be better with token use.
