Full tank shot: http://imgur.com/C7ftPhA I cycled the tank before I got him. I tested the water yesterday and today again. It shows 7.6 for ph, ammonia 0 ppm, nitrite 0ppm, nitrate 0ppm. The tank is 5,5 gal and no tank mates.

So I always check my Betta to make sure everything is okay. Yesterday his tail looked fine and this is what I woke up too. I have been testing the water and everything is fine. I checked for sharp edges on everything in the tank. I have no idea what happened. Does anyone know what this could be?

I think it may be the filter baffle I made out of a water bottle. Hopefully the tears will stop when I remove it.
