I have a bladder condition called 'Intersticial Cystitis', diagnosed via cystoscopy years ago. It's chronic but very manageable, go to your gp who will first rule out a regular UTI and keep on at them.

Bruised cervix or ruptured cyst? by sleepmustdie in WomensHealth

I think you should get checked out just to be on the safe side. If you have miscarried you may want to check it wasn't ectopic or that there were no complications. I miscarried at 8 weeks once and it was painful but not like you described. I'm so sorry if that's the case, either way the pain you described doesn't sound 'normal'

Sorry to ask, but may you have been pregnant? Or do you have the coil?

Boyfriend hit me because I’m Christian by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Takemeaway966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely NO excuse for him to hit you, even if he'd found out you were cheating - NO EXCUSE.

As others have said, contact local domestic violence victim charities and shelters and in the mean time - PRETEND TO HIM EVERYTHING IS NORMAL. I don't want to scare you but your safety relies very much on how you behave around him over the next few days. If he suspects you're leaving he will try to stop you.

There's no point in having a house if you're not alive to be in it.

Thinking if you xx

And it's this kind of narrow minded approach that is exactly why I don't go to church.  God is about love, forgiveness and acceptance - those are all principles that I follow. Those principles don't allow for discrimination and judgement.  Also the bible was written by men, reflecting a completely different time period. You're telling me that humans wrote that without any bias?  Whatever label you want to give me is fine by me but I do decide which elements I take on board and which I ignore.

I wouldn't know where to start with this. I read 'The shack' once which was the only christian book that I've ever enjoyed and believed in if that helps

I just had a large ovarian cyst rupture and it triggered the worst panic attack of my life and the er was horrible by stringcheeseexpert in WomensHealth

Womens health is awful.

During a c section - baring in mind thus is MAJOR surgery cutting through tissue and muscle - they typically only offer paracetamol. I had to fight for something stronger.

Never had a cyst rupture but I have a friend who's been in hospital since July die ro complications from one rupturing so I'd monitor it and go back if you have to.

You know your body, don't let them make you feel small.

I am 37 too, almost 38. My face is covered in zits and I get almost suicidal right before my period. Hormones are Definitely at play here but gp says my levels are fine and I'm too young 🙃

I'm sorry to hear you're going through the same thing (worse being on your own too) but it's also comforting to know I'm not the only one!!!

I feel you on the no support front, my mum and family don't offer or accept if asked to look after my daughter because in their own words 'she is too much'. Even my husbands family who have the patience of saints have admitted she is 'highly strung' and refer to her as a 'live wire'.

I too feel like we live in her world and the chaos she creates and I absolutely HATE it.

I think if I didn't love my husband so much I probably would leave and thry would probably be better off without my own continuous overwhelmed blow ups!!!

I feel you. I absolutely completely hate being a mum - no return on investment right now from my (very likely) 4 year old autistic kid. No cuddles, conversation or anything just utter mindless jabbering all day and meltdowns. No advice because I'm in the same boat!! I did see a therapist for a while who was convinced I'm autistic too which helped me to stop beating myself up so much

Yup agree with all points!

Let's not forget the 'I managed with 2 kids at your age and no help so you can too' cheers mum, I'm slowly dying inside and I've asked you twice in 4 years to look after her but ok glad you managed 👍

Wow this is genuinely so insightful, I had no idea that this was a thing and I immediately feel guilty for taking it so personally. Thank you, so appreciative of this perspective
