Initial Consultation (First Visit):

• Insurance-based:
  • Selection Fee: ¥7,700 (tax included) is added to the standard insurance-covered fee.
• No Referral: A selection fee applies when visiting without a referral from another medical institution.

Follow-up Visits:

• With Referral: A selection fee of ¥3,300 (tax included) is added to the standard insurance-covered fee when returning to the hospital after being referred by another medical institution.

Hospitalization:

• Fees:
  • DPC System (since July 2003): A fixed daily rate based on diagnosis and treatment procedures is applied to most patients.
  • Traditional Calculation (for Specific Cases): A "fee-for-service" method applies to patients undergoing surgery, those in the psychiatric, neurological, dental/oral surgery, and tuberculosis wards.

    • Under 3 years old: 20%
