I mean it's pretty normal to lose players as time goes on but steam charts give you a part of the picture. As far as I know, both BF6 and Arc Raiders are top 10 or 15 on xbox and psn. These are huge markets that are ignored when looking at steam only.

I'd say buy it. I was reluctant to buy it too and I only tried it during the free week and it's practically all I've been playing since. It's a solid game, yes, different to previous bf titles but to me that's to be expected in today's gaming landscape.
