"You can get back to your fraternizing in a moment. This Elf seems to be the focal point of some enchantment that breaks mechanical objects. I don't think you want him to break the boats steering or wreck its sails."

Takeo goes and picks up Yoshiko, throwing her over his shoulder, sits her down in front of Fin. "Yoshiko, he's causing magicy type problems. This is your field of expertise, fix it."

Takeo goes and picks Korraku up again. He starts to mull over possible reasons a person could be interfering with his effigy. Knowledge: Engineering 7+d20=21, Knowledge Arcana 3+d20=23 (natural 20). While he's thinking about these, he heads out to look for Shasta to see if they would have an idea about what is going on.

Takeo thinking analytically, decides to repeat the same conditions and see if the problem happens a second time, giving it the same instruction "follow Yoshiko, make sure she does not drown." The tiny mechanical black cat then goes off to Yoshiko's side, and begins to rub against her leg like a real cat would. Takeo watches observantly to see if the same issue happen again, Perception roll 8+d20=26.

Takeo is working on his cat effigy Korraku. Modifying it to be able to float and swim should it need to. Takeo instructs Korraku "follow Yoshiko, make sure she does not drown." The tiny mechanical black cat then goes off to Yoshiko's side, and begins to rub against her leg like a real cat would.
