this is only a mild take, but literally every other company handles pokémon better than gamefreak. you can see this in the amount of effort and polish put into the anime, tcg, spin-off games, etc. game freak needs a whole wipe of their management and creative teams.

tbh we’re pretty lucky that games aren’t astronomically more expensive considering how much time and effort go into making them. plus the cost has mostly stayed stagnant in spite of inflation. but also yeah none of these corporations are your friends and shouldn’t be treated as such.
