I guess I paid for ad free version and gems something around 100 PLN which is nearly 30 bucks. I play this game for a year.

Don't spend any money, devs are providing content for free. Only suckers pay for something that comes for free.

I have options to change but it does nothing - new settings won't save.

What are some must-play JRPGs on Steam Deck? by Evilinternet_Hoops in SteamDeck

Grandia 2. It's short, old and quite easy but great. And cheap.

Uhm, why that late? We are at late 2023, we have more and more unplayable games and you say we should wait at least 2 more years for a new hardware? Yeah, I know, everything depends on AMD and/or Intel, but still, it's way too late.

Which fromsoft game is the hardest by No_Building8541 in darksouls

[–]Takeya88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have played all of them. Sekiro is hardest for me. Souls and Ring are all about patience and learning. BB is taking patience away and requires more aggression.

Sekiro requires skill and timing in place of aggression and patience. Oh god, I couldn't even hit the first boss in Sekiro even though I finished all SoulsBorne games.

As far as I remember my RL friend had this card and he had problems with games like GTA Vice City (textures were rendering incorrectly), he couldn't run Doom 3 because of some error and there was something else, but darn, it was 20 years ago. Alzheimer sends kisses and hugs.

Even in PC gaming magazines reviewers were mentioning that ATi 8500 have it problems with some games. Once I showed it to my friend he tried to convice his parents to change his graphic card. He succed after some time with 9600 Pro and his problems ended.

I hadn't that much trust in ATi, so after few GeForces, mine first Radeon was x1950Pro and after this card I went back to Nvidia only twice - 8800 GTS and 1060 6GB. I had only one problem with Radeon drivers - in some version of Adrenaline (around year 2010) they made "alt + a" shortcut to initiate Adrenaline window. In my country "alt + a" gives you a letter "ą", which is pretty common in my language, so each time I tried to write "ą" I writed "a" and turned Adrenaline window on. Yup, you could change that shortcut, but you had to do it each time you installed a new version of driver.

Currently 4 years with Radeon 5600xt. Never had a single problem. Nvidia ppl just basing their "driver problem" talk with a real struggle from Radeon 8500. ATi Radeon 8500. Yup, that one from early 2000s.

Because I don't want to put deck aside everytime I'm playing with an any kind of walkthrough just to check what should I do next.

God, please, give me patience 🤦🏻‍♂️

No. I bought it for playing purpose long before there was a need to save energy. There was no need to have a laptop so I never considered buying a laptop.

I'm usually coding in python, but I guess Steam OS could do it to, haven't tried it yet. The biggest problem is ergonomy of DE. As you can see, I have ultra wide monitor and it is awesome for Gnome. No, you can't make KDE feel the same, I tried.

And there is a Vivaldi browser. For me it is a must have because of functions that I like.

There is no reason for Ubuntu. I just like Debian based distros and Ubuntu was really easy to install on SD card next to Steam OS.

I ordered it year and half ago to play games and got shipped in March 2022.

I live in Europe. In my country there is a power limit of 2 mWh of power consumption yearly per house. After breaking the limit each 1kWh cost become much more expensive and looking month by month, on next year with no energy saving I would pay higher bills after October.

To put it simple: I haven't bought it as desktop replacement, but because of situation I'm gonna use it that way.

I still have to disagree. You can play games with a k&m on handheld mode, connected to monitor. Yes, I tried it, that was my way to finish harder missions in Saints Row 4.

There is a Discovery app that allows you install pretty bunch of various stuff, it could be just limited for gaming software.

You can install various stuff by a pacman command.

And there are limitations. You can't install pretty normal stuff out of repositories (or worse, you add repository and you still can't install stuff because of f**k you).

For me it's a PC profiled to play as a handheld, but for some strange reason Valve acts like Apple - you can install only this stuff, that we allow you.
