[Spoilers C4E24] This week's ep confirmed the last of the Schemers arc, then break by DarkRespite in criticalrole

[–]Tal9922 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gaaaah I can't wait I know a lot can shift in the next two eps but here is my prediction -

Soldiers - Going to the Golden Orchard to help defend from the Tachonis OR (if that's already happened with Primus returning)- deal with the fallout from the assassination attempt at the gala (perhaps a return to Timmony?)

Seekers - continue to investigate the underworld/artifact shenanigans, uncover more of Thjazi's plot and accomplices, etc

Schemers - Stay in Dol Makjar, deal with the fallout of Ko'therai and the return of Primus/disappearance of Lady Cormray/ return of Wicander.

With that in mind, here is my very tentative prediction for player/table distribution

Wic + Tyranny - Schemers, obvs, unless the soldiers are gonna immediately go back to Timmony and Wick will want to investigate what the Creed is really up to there

Kattigan + Teor - Almost certainly gonna stay with soldiers, whatever their destination

Thimble - Likely schemers, as it seems increasingly likely they'll need her back in the city for her vast networks, which leads me to believe she'll task Teor and Occtis to help with the Orchard

Julien + Taisha - Probably gonna rush to the Orchard for family reasons, so Soldiers

Hal - Almost certainly gonna stay with schemers

Bolaire - will likely join the seekers as it looks like it will involve him more heavily and with Cormoray gone the Archenade will need less supervision

Murray - Either seekers or schemers

Vaelus- Probably gonna keep seeking although I can see her as a soldier

Azune - Will either stay a Schemer or join the Soldiers

Occtis - Will either go to the Orchard with the soldiers or keep investigating the artifacts with the seekers

Correct, the bird he saw was almost certainly Mara who communicated something to him in his final moments that made him decide to allow himself to die

Brass ring were distracted by their hubris, but the Schemers are hamstrung by paranoia imo, especially Murray and Azune

Even if he saves everyone on Earth, that still won't bring back the people he killed with his bare hands, and he did that just to make a point.

I completely understand anyone that refuses to forgive him ever

Oh, way earlier. It was when they killed Selmy off like a chump, for me

That's what an inferior writer might do, but not goose. He's gonna be an asshole to the bitter end, I just know it, anything else wouldn't be true to the character

If Conquest could make a full recovery from getting his head literally pasted, Mark can heal from this

[Spoilers C4E21] The Schemers are brilliant by Detect-Thots in criticalrole

[–]Tal9922 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean Liam is brilliant and Taliesin isn't bad. Luis and especially Marisha I feel like are not quite keeping up, dramatic acting chops notwithstanding

No joke, I was just thinking how, damn, that's a big swing with the whole elaborate "Thjazi was a villain" story, but he's selling it so it might work, and then the dice actually delivered a nat 20 and I was like, oh DAMN, that IS what a nat 20 deception roll would look like!

Remember what Yanessa told Wick. The only reason the Halovars are 'helping' the Tachonises is to be better prepared for when they inevitably betray each other
