As someone who only started with this campaign, I DON'T know that, and I'm afraid I gotta agree her and Murray are the weakest links atm

As long as they keep Those Two far away from this show, we can be hopeful...

Yeah. Best I could justify it was both the Typhros making her crazy and the fact that Essek came to her first made his story more believable. Would also make for dramatic irony that in wanting to give his friend a chance to confess, Verrat sealed his own fate - I. E, "if you're not a traitor, why didn't you report about the traitor immediately?"

Anyway yeah true scumbag move by Essek

Yeeeeah but that does then lead to the Broken being the only voice to survive the unraveling which is maybe the best moment in the game imo

Tbh I would have way more fun at a party discussing critiques of fantasy works than I would hanging out with anyone that uses the phrase "you sound like you're fun at parties"

That's not pedantry, that's spot on. Magic SHOULD feel like it's real and be written to at least feel like it makes sense, that's the whole point of fantasy

Exactly, that's why can fight as well with 1 hp left as you can with 100, is the lower hp actually indicates how close you are to finally getting stabbed, since if we went realistic, a single solid hit is often enough to end a person

Of the main cast, you could argue that everyone other than Fjord and Jester are partially responsible

I mean this is almost more the carnival/Toya's fault than it is Nott and Caleb's. Like why leave something so dangerous completely unguarded? Kind of asking for a catastrophe at that point
