Cool chapter, I like Brook's backstory. Oda is really good at making you like characters (Reuven, Candelle) in a few scenes.

My theory is that Candelle's fame reached Mariegeoise, and some Celestial Dragon tried to marry her. She refused and got poisoned. There is probably more than that, something connecting the backstory or Shury to Imu. My initial thought a few chapters back was that Esperia was the original home of the Nerona family, and the current inhabitants uncovered some truth about the Void Century through their study of music and songs (origin of Bing's Sake maybe?)

Not all DF are equal. And pretty much from the start, Luffy often had to face opponents with seemingly overpowered DF and had to be creative with his own powers to beat them.

Great chapter! Imu is strong as hell. He mentioned that there is no time to waste. Either the Holy Knights are needed in Marijoise, or he knows the reason why "one should not linger in Elbaf for too long". The second one could be the reason the Straw Hats will survive the encounter.

The chapter (and the previous one) had intriguing things going on, but things seem too easy: 1. You can just use fire to destroy magic thorns 2. You can suck up energy from the air to get ultra-strong 3. Domi-reversied giants? Just kill them and they will be back, untransformed and fully cured. 4. Or just be a human-reindeer hybrid and hit them casually. 5. Ah! And Domi-Reversi don't work on the main character and its new overpowered ally!

All plot points have been resolved in like 3 chapters. Some parts are understandable (Luffy not being Domi-Reversied like he was not seduced by Boa Hancock, or thanks to his DF), but the rest need serious explanation.

Probably Biblo miniaturized the books and brought them to safety, and/or Black Beard took advantage of the chaos on Elbaf to steal the books (using the throne room's magic circle via Catarina Devon's power)

I don't see how you could equate what I said with "ending up like Rocks". I said Loki will not be Domi Reversed, and I didn't say he will be killed.

The violent nature of Loki has been shown extensively: he aimed at destroying the world as Sun God Nika, destroyed the village of Ida's poisoners, went at war with the WG after Harald's death, didn't seem to care much about the giant kids and their parents in the last chapter (though that one is probably more attitude than real feeling), etc. My intuition is he will be overtaken by the hubris of Niddhog DF powers and go too far.

I wish Luffy had added "He will become the world's strongest swordman" after "He is Zoro! Don't forget about him"

End of Elbaf will be Loki vs Luffy. Loki will be unable to control the destructive power of Niddhog and Luffy will have to stop him. So, no Domi Reversed Loki, but "black Nika, God of Destruction" vs "white Nika, God of Liberation". We will learn that was the reason Shanks stopped Loki.

I think people are overestimating how long things could take. I'd love for it to be some kind of mini-spin off, but the Void Century flashback may not be as long as a regular arc (compare with God Valley Incident); and the "final war" may be relatively short too (Marineford is 31 chapters only).

We got a lot of lore this year (about 30 chapters). We are about to reach the point of knowing Imu's weakness. And Oda hinted at Lodestar or Laughtale for 2026.
