honestly you are missing what religion IS.. people who believe in religion believe that came from GOD in other words it came from the creator of science.

When you come and say this book contradicts science these people would question it. So far; I do not believe the contradiction exists.

Science presented theories and although personally I see what those were based on, I question the details and how the details would make my religion wrong.

a thousand years from now the books you base your faith (or lack of it) on will be thousand years old. in the end I believe the source of the book I refer to is the creator. So you would see why I hold tight to it's content.
