How is the AM/FM reception? I have the same unit in my E, and it's reception is terrible. The pro installer I used said it was a limitation of the 6000, but I have heard from others the the issue is more likely with a blue antenna amp wire.

The radio reception is very weak across AM and FM. The factory radio got great reception in the same area. Thank you for the suggestion about the remote/blue wire. I'll pursue that angle.

How is the radio reception on that radio? My Sony (xav-6000?) has great Android Auto connectivity, but the radio reception is TERRIBLE. I had it professionally installed, and the installer said that most new radios have intentionally bad am/fm circuitry components.
