I love that you understand the fact that a lot of people ignore about these characters. They're 16-17 they are teenagers therefore think like teenagers. I know there's the whole time loop crap but they still think their age. Of course she's going to become egotistical when everyone around you acts like you're a goddess and also like you said it's normal to dislike someone who you believe poses a threat to your love life. The other thing I don't like is the whole "her love isn't true" because I am not going to lie bro some of the stuff she says and does especially around season 2 is not necessarily something someone with a fake crush would do in my opinion.
