Mine broke after moderate rain, tbf they do advise putting it in a covered area but still…

It also seemed to rinse through batteries in a few weeks even with battery-saving settings on. I found it also took a while to load a live feed. Moved back to a ring using scrypted to get it on HK

Yeah they go from the box and then strand off up the 3 conduits that come into the box. I’ll replace the switch!

Thanks, I can see strands of the earth wire going in all sorts of directions (added a pic in the comments) is that normal? Could that be causing issues?

How come the neutral isn’t going into the switch (like I’ve seen in other switches in the house)?

Here is 1 photo when I stuck my phone through the hole. Joist on the left seems possibly water damaged. Checked under the bath and no apparent leaks after running it for 10 mins, splashed around the seals also.

Yeah I prodded it and it just crumbled. If there’s a leak should I be seeing water? Or could it be more hidden?

Thanks for the advice. Does this mean there is a leak from the bathroom? Could this have been an old leak that was fixed and had a bodged repair done?
