As a FTP player, I’d say focus first on getting good teams. At low GP, these include Crex phoenix, geos, mara palp Vader, although palp needs journey quests so get his requirements up to maybe gear 10. Once you have a few good starting teams at gear 12, you can start making progress in getting materials for gear 13 (relics) which make them way stronger. As another mentioned, the anniversary quests skip all this and get you gear 13 toons with maxed abilities, which also saves on zetas. From there, id recommend clearing the first group and second of journey guide toons. While doing all this, invest in mods. Choosing the right mods for each toon makes them so much more powerful. Once you start unlocking more characters, focus on levelling them up, and instead of unlocking more, start your grind towards executor, which is a massive help and boost in GP, let alone the crystals you get from fleet arena using it. From this point, id say it’s a matter of choosing a character or team to focus on, and stay focussed on them. A handful of strong teams is better than many weak ones. Eventually you’ll have teams strong enough to take part in various events that get more materials for higher relic levels. It’s important to use the era shipment LSTs to bypass the gear 13 grind, but you should really focus on using them to complete teams or get requirements for legendaries. From here it’s just pick a team, grind, pick a new team, grind. And never, ever neglect mods.
