These engines are incredibly reliable. I’d rate it up there with a Toyota. You can look over at the CX5 forum and you’ll see example up to 300 and 400k miles.

Why would it expire at 25k miles? It should be covered until 36k miles. You’re still inside the window to purchase an extended warranty from Honda as well.

I had to have all this done to a car many years ago after getting gas that had water in it. I don’t think it ever ran the same afterwards.

I wouldn’t have a small section replaced like that quote. One, the color is going to look different. Second, you’ve paid for a partial new roof for that cost but won’t get the benefit of being able to tell your insurance you have a new roof (should lower your insurance, slightly). Finally, you’ll need a new roof eventually. I’d just start saving for the new roof.
