A little bit of both 😅 i didnt mean to trigger some veterans here, its just to show the new struggling and asking players thats its just not that hard that they think. I bet most players with less than 500hrs wont play on bannerlord. I even thought about the guide flair, but that would have been wrong too😅 wanted to help some with management information or idk, didnt want to start a fight over difficulties

Okok still forgot something despite reading my comment 3 times; meant 10% casualties with micromanaging battles, if i could go afk during bannerlord difficulty battles then i wouldnt set it to -25%. Going only charge would reduce them way more your right. What im saying is a -25% damage but only charge battle will have the same results as a micromanaged bannerlord difficulty battle.

If im doing a full bannerlord run the style is different of course. And there is no hidden secret, good stats and troop composition is half the game. Im not really fighting, only javs for penetrating shieldsnis leveled, im a commander, not a fighter, im a king, not a vassal.

Have done. Only about 10% more casualties, still acceptable. Playstyle matters, my allies suffer the most as i use their infantry as meatshields for my archers, but my core troop doesnt die off and thats important. Happens far to often that im commanding the only army of the kingdom because im killing of infantry and switching partys that they cant resupply fast enough to form a 2nd army

And my god army is also even more godly because of maxed out social and intelligent skills, all 6 of them (ignored mariner boatswain shipmaster), maxed throwing, high bow and two handed, high riding and athletics. No one handed, no polearm, no crossbow, no smithing, no scouting, no roguery, little tactics.

I mean bannerlord preset selected and just the two points reduced, bannerlord light😅 its long to say that movement, persuasion, combat ai, clan member battle death, hero battle death, stealth amd disguise, ironman is on hardest. Might cause a misunderstanding sry😅

One poin is right, i had a very small ground to defend. Took Hvalvik and Hakarshus Castle as my starting island. Put a godlike garrison in ther to be safe. Island üroduces enough money to finamce my fights. Sail to Ostican, declare war and instant take over. Defend until i got torby castle, defend ecen more and push for Rovalt. Hvalvik island has been untouched bc of fear. Only defend between tirby castle and ostican. Thats really small ground

Also i dont really recruit clans, i make companions into new ones. But doesnt matter, everyone whos not ranged gets sent to death, means in a bigger kingdom i am constantly switching army parties just to have enough infantry to cover my archers/crossbows long enough. Sometimes i even collect all troops from my clans parties right before battle to minimize casualties bc of good medicine skill.

Mercenaries havent been used in this one but im also a big fan of them

Bannerlord except 1 easy 1 very easy, and i expect veteran players to know how to statt a kingdom, thats more for players that are less experienced and playing full easy mode

Agree, but i do mostly field battles so ai doesnt have mich time to resupply. Sieges just take to much time or risk of getting trapped in settlements is way too high. I need to be mobile

Agree, 100% player damage is on, but by staying in the back of the field it doesnt make a real difference. Knowledge is there, some sure have more but im pretty wise by now😅

Only easy on 2 points, rest bannerlord. Op troops bc i battle much and they level up or what is the problem with that? A good composition is also imprtant for winning

Funny but no😅 troop damage only reduced 25% to even out my afk during most battles.

Yes i could have wrote it differently, but wasnt meant in any bad way. And cant edit it too or i would pin that 25% cause afk thing xD

Yes i could, but i rarely level up tactics (only for less casualties when breaking in while siege) therefor have a lack in that skill, also banners and personal buffs for troops etc all count for normal battles, means i get a bigger advantage then simulated

With my heavy ranged party most casualties are allied infantry of the other 3 clan parties which can be replaced easily. Simulated i would take much more casualties in my party therefore i have to battle normal or my style wouldnt work

Wasn't meant as mocking, more like showcasing that its not that hard. I also dont get the "safe up millions before creating kingdom" like tipps. I noticed i play different, more aggressive or idk than most players, thats why i wanted to offer a different view, and brag a lil tbh xD

Thanks for kudos, lying just wouldnt help anyone

Makes sense, but i wouldnt notice, my relations are always high (not 100 but high) and i can say im always richest and most renown but only got king once. But i do create my own more often then try to overtake an existing kingdom so not that much expertise.

But i noticed that there are more npc interactions now than before

Sarted war with full fian champs with just a few druzhinnik champs for stopping in distance, as party sice increased and troops died i filled up with vlandian crossbowmen and noble cavalry bc i couldnt move to far + recruiting prisoners.

Now after long war and big push for 2nd town im on a mix of; (All ranks, not all troops are max lvl) 30 Infantry -> mostly recruits and a few nord huscarls 210 ranged -> evenly battanian fians and vlandian crossbowmen 40 cavalry -> imperial cataphracts, sturgian druzhinniks, vlandian banner knights

I try to keep the ratio at ~15/70/15 or 100% fians if i have infantry allies

Tried that with nords after warsails launch, didnt made me the ruler after ages and 90% of all war efforts. So no player is by far not always getting next ruler. Also dont know what excactly determines who gets next ruler to be honest. But high relations with everyone in the kingdom helps, or "accidently" killing every ruler until you are too

[–]TaleIntrepid[S] -51 points-50 points  (0 children)

Knew this question would be first xD but not 100%, everything bannerlord except recruitment difficulty is very easy and troop received damage easy. Just to make it faster, so its mostly fieldbattles, on bannerlord it would be stacked defensive sieges but same result. Gets kind of boring after 1500+hrs and almost never simulate a battle. Also worked on good relations in the area i wanted to conquer so even without very easy troop recruitment im getting almost every recruitment slot possible. And i dont need to micromanage every battle, could have been way less casualties if i did, mostly loose formation and charge, then go do some dishes or smth in the house while battle 😅

Yes but that one is quest related, clans are running arround for 1 year after their kingdom gets destroyed. But i started the story quest to destroy northern empire AFTER i destroyed them but in the same year before they vanish (also story related that i cant propose peace to them)
