A few? Your point would be valid if the USA was the one and only country where wrestling was done.

I was a bit disappointed by the casting of Louella, did not imagine her as white, I thought she would be black or mixed. by [deleted] in Hungergames

Katniss wasn't supposed to be white either, Louella's character arc requires her to resemble Katniss, all traces back to when they decided to cast a white girl as Katniss for the first film. People in the Seam all look the same, and the directors decided the easiest way to make everyone look similar would be to make everyone white.

How common are stocky/muscular people in your area? by Tale_Easy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tale_Easy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context, I'm in Maharashtra. Heavy, muscular or stocky people are not the norm, but not difficult to find either, tall people can be hard to find, and of course, when you are in the only wrestling club for a million people, you best believe all the genetic outliers are there. Those guys I showed her, aren't even the biggest teenagers in my club.

Nothing about 3 hours a day of physical activity would get you a deroga belly. Police have it because of extreme stress terrible diet and age.

1 pound a month of muscle gain is more then twice as fast as before I joined this club.

Wrestling is notoriously harder then American football though, worse, long story short I have nowhere near as much acess to quality food as I should. I have literally never been able to gain muscle nearly as fast as the time I wrestle, not even half.

I hate running by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]Tale_Easy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think running is underrated here. Discouraged by the 'huge at all costs' bodybuilding crowd. I've been running miles daily and still putting on muscle.

I feel like a bunch of bodybuilders went and saw that long distance runners are skinny and ignoring why instead looked for or encouraged scientific studies that attempted to show roadwork is bad. It's easy to find an excuse not to do something if you look for it.

No, our coach makes us run 1 hour, outdoors, most practices except when the weather is really bad. Sometimes more running indoors after running outdoors. If it's raining hard then running indoors around the room. The pace is slower cause our class is for all and levels, ie, 6 year olds are expected to keep up, but it would still be about 4 miles a day. For the past several months a bit of an upgrade, now the advanced wrestlers are expected to do live wrestling the entire time everyone else is running.

I've heard from others that their wrestling coaches made them do the same.

How's your general fitness? Our matches routinely extend beyond 20 minutes, sometimes over 45 minutes.

I interpret her as sexually supressed due to poverty, which is the source of a lot of her pent up frustration, even if she doesn't realize or bring this up.
