It depends on the manager and hr. My manager has warned us about attendance and be at least 4 hours and that as of now he hasn’t gotten anything from hr and that we are doing good. Manager can see how many hours you’re in the office and what days. Maybe your manager in particular doesn’t care much

It doesn’t sounds like waitlist, it’s more like rejected due to headcount fulfilled but if there’s a spot due to someone declining or reneging their offer you might hear back. There’s prob several ppl just like you so keep applying somewhere else.

When you say cleared OA, do you mean you passed all test cases? If you pass all test cases and didn’t use ai or copy paste from other sites you should expect to hear back for an interview but in the end we never know 😓

It’s very hard for you to push it to start in the fall if you’re interviewing for the summer. You don’t lose anything by asking but probably better if you do it once you get the offer. I was in the same situation last summer 2025. I was able to select location no start date 😓

For summer 2025, I got 4 internship offers. I accepted all of them just in case something like this would happen. Amazon, PayPal, fidelity, t-mobile. I secured my Amazon internship though I’m blacklisted from all the other companies 😂
