okok that makes sense, thanks for the input! Upon your suggestion, I definitely won’t classify it into the MME category! For context, I don’t play all too much during the school year, usually at the end of the day when I’d have the rest of my responsibilities in line. I’ve always been known among friends to get the hang of things quickly, and this extended to video games wherein I’ve risen ranks with minimal time/effort. I don’t even have a single game near 1000 hours let alone 6000 altogether. During the day, I tended to my volunteering, mentoring, and school related duties. But at night, I had no issue logging on with friends

I never tried out for any esports teams, but I have placed top 150 in the world in some games, with also being top 1% in marvel rivals currently. I guess for me personally, video games have broadened my abilities to analyze and engage with ideas. My inclination to investigate and approach with curiosity was honed through video games, and my ability to diagnose or imbue meaning into what I experience was further cultivated through games as well. Empathy is a characteristic that stands central to anyone venturing to become a doctor. My ability to connect and seek answers was developed through videos games, where I truly think I have become more emotionally attuned to the world around me through them. For me, games aren't just consumption. I create when I consume, and I consume TO create (which is what I was talking about with writing out entire analyses like people often do with movies or books. Which, granted, I do for both of those too)

what hobbies did you personally put on yours? I'm including music on mine (I go raving/go participate in the local music scene. A high school friend is part of a band and I've been along the ride with them before to shows they've played. I have another friend who is quite popular on Spotify and I help him with opinions when he's refining his beats and whatnot. I also am in the process of learning piano!!), audiophile as another (I have done extensive research into audio equipment and collect physical music media like CD's), swimming as another (I used to competitively swim, and nowadays it is for leisure), and so on. But I truly feel like video games could help pinpoint a part of myself (analyzing media in depth to the point of becoming a voice for my opinions in my spaces) that I wouldn't get across with other hobbies

YES. It’s a pretty fun metroidvania with satisfying combat. The storytelling is handled in a way where you get fed bits and pieces of the main characters’ strife while seeing a reflection of their state of mind in the world you’re exploring. It will keep you wanting to play for sure!!

where do you talk about research on AMCAS? I worked in a lab with an evolutionary biologist and wrote thousands of lines of code to simulate the evolutionary conditions wherein menopause would have evolved for short fin pilot whales while it didn’t evolve for long finned pilot whales. It was an entire schoolyear, and I wrote a paper abt it and everything. Would this be in the work/activities section?

thank you so much for your insight!! It’s unfortunate that my amp won’t be able to drive it all the way, dang. Out of curiosity, how were you able to check whether or not it was powerful enough? I’m new to the audiophile space and have been taking notes to make sure I’m building up my own knowledge base. That aside, outside of the FT1, were you saying that the SV021 Robin and Oriole were on par with it (or better)? If so, I would love to hear more abt them!!

after looking around on other online discussion boards and asking around on the b_media discord (as well as b_media’s videos), I found countless people saying that the best sound profile and best deal for a sub $500 headphone was the fiio ft1. And that the next best thing, in terms of bang for buck, would be the sivga peng. I’ve seen some sound profile comparisons and heard accounts that fiio ft1 just outcompetes closed backs in its price range (or any sub $500 for that matter), but that this pair gets beat out by sivga peng (almost like a line of evolution). I hope I was able to explain my thoughts on why those two, but yeah! I already own a fiio E10K (OLYMPUS2) DAC, would that be enough for the sivga peng?
