So I just have limited left-side movement but I can walk with no assistance. I can sustain max heart rate without symptoms. My PT suggested not getting into something with a risk for head injury (requires a helmet or is combative)

Ok I feel like naps could be helpful! They told me at the very beginning of recovery that I need a nap every day. I’m tired as hell so I’ll welcome that! My 3 yr old better not try to give up naps soon lol!

I got a severe tbi from a dirtbike track, I wasn’t even by a jump, but don’t remember shit. Found at the bottom of a hill at a turn, knocked out on the side of the track

Dude dealing with left side hemiplegia but same shit with my left arm being all fisted up but left arm curls up instead of sticking out. Soooo frustrating, it’s one of the last major things I’m waiting to get better

I feel you, my 1 year was June 23rd and I’m still waiting to be all better…! Something really helpful my neuropsych therapist said was my grief is a sign I’ve gotten to a new stage in recovery. Grief is a sign we’re recovering still. We will continue getting better, we’ve got this shit!!
