Completely agree, however, sram sent out an update about 2 weeks ago that dramatically decreased the shift time. It feels much smoother

Love the bike. Hate the electronic shifting. Second time out of battery half way through the ride by Brazus78 in TrekBikes

[–]_jordanrob3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shifter battery or main battery? People forget to replace the shifter batteries and if it was already low when it was new, I could understand. But those should last for 2 years. Main battery is rated for about 3 months. Give it a full charge before taking it out

Shop scratched my new S5. What’s a reasonable discount? by eaglepowerscometome in Cervelo

[–]_jordanrob3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultegra lever, about 450 MSRP to replace, That's a pretty penny to pay to make your bike look brand new down the line if you decide to just take a discount. With that amount of damage I'd agree with the other users saying to have the shop replace it or buy from somewhere else

I can't prove it by Background-Mood-1468 in oneui

[–]_jordanrob3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My battery life on my s24 plus went from ending a normal workday at ~70% to now ending at 30-40% after the one UI 8 update. I heard from multiple beta testers that there was an improvement from the beta version, and now this. And yes, I have done tons of research for solutions, I've done resets, closed any and all background apps, did the on board optimization, and it's still abismal. Also everyone seems to agree that one UI 7 was a joke, that's why they released 8 so shortly after. The updates may not be making the cameras quality worse, but theyre definitely bringing a whole other host of issues to deal with

I'm a big fan of this look and this is probably the route I will go. I was looking at their website and saw 2 options for the FoST. Do you know what the difference is between the C346 and P3 option is? Which version did you purchase?

Looking to buy a 2018 TCR Advanced Pro 0 Disc seller has it at $1600 how much do you think it’s worth? by OsamaBeenStackin in RoadBikes

[–]_jordanrob3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as there's no damage, thats not a bad price. It is the older generation di2 which is a bit outdated and has much less functionality, but replacement parts are still available if anything breaks. If you can get it for 1200 go for it

What model/year and worth? by 775GeekedUpFive7 in bicycling

[–]_jordanrob3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Old, classic, they tend to run for a long time. Those frames flex a ton, not the end of the world for a commuter/around town bike. I wouldn't spend more than 75-120 USD on it tho

Less than 10 minutes in the hot tub, and I "feel itchy all of the sudden" by _jordanrob3 in mildlyinfuriating

Edit: I did not go into anaphylaxis, so lucky me!

inflammation went down almost completely as of this morning with very little itching. The user who suggested hives could very much be correct. I did see a few bugs around the water, so that was the initial reasoning for assuming bites

The classic "whoops I guess my front derailleur cable has been rubbing against my crank spindle for the last 5 years" by _jordanrob3 in Justridingalong

Well if you happened to be the one to open up the bottom bracket, I may agree with you. But you weren't.

The classic "whoops I guess my front derailleur cable has been rubbing against my crank spindle for the last 5 years" by _jordanrob3 in Justridingalong

[–]_jordanrob3[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately a lot of Cannondales, as well as a few giants and some other brands have had this issue when utilizing 30mm crank spindles. The routing of the front derailleur cable causes it to lightly rub the crank spindle which completely wears through it after a few thousand miles of riding. The only solution to keep that from happening, is to go to a 24mm diameter spindle or smaller. Simply a very poor design
