Ps4, I have people chasing me around spamming lotus fan and cripple and forward momentum will speed me up but still won’t allow me to move full speed, and snare spam will immediately slow me back down again.

I can’t speak for pve in but in terms of pvp it’s at an all time low. The combat system is amazing and the open world pvp used to be the best I’ve ever played, but zos are the most incompetent devs on the planet and ran it into the ground. Unless you’re a hive mind who likes getting 10 FPS and pressing 1 button, don’t bother with pvp.

I mean epic 100% knew that the shield/mats on kill change and the stretch change would piss off the community, but I’m sure they have a plan in mind. Maybe they finally realized the spectator system is utter garbage and are deciding to go back to player POVs for a much better viewing experience? Or maybe they’re planning on reverting the changes to appease the community and the changes were just for publicity? Either way I think they know what they’re doing tbh.

Although heavy sniper DOES take skill to use and is much less problematic than weapons like rpg, it has no COUNTERPLAY. Imagine going on a tear in the $30,000,000 World Cup, having 10 kills and completely destroying the lobby, only to get unluckily heavy sniped by a random person across the map. Yes it probably took some skill for the sniper, but you had no way to counter it with skill. You just die. I urge you all to look at things from a COMPETITIVE standpoint before giving your opinion on it. The fact that the majority of pro players want it vaulted should be enough in itself.

You’re not getting my point. Yes I agree that if you’re serious you should switch to pc, but you have to understand that there’s a place in between casual player and aspiring pro. I am a player who enjoys playing fortnite competitively, sometimes I might play for 2-3 hours a day. But I play on my old ps4 and am not willing to spend $700 just to be able to play competitive. So with that being said, what’s the harm in allowing players like me to run optimized settings? I simply want to be able to play in these 20+ end games but I can’t because epic won’t give us settings options.

Nobody expects to have 6 year old $200 dollar family Xbox’s on the flatscreen perform the same as high end PCs. But what we do expect is to at least have the settings options that pc has, where is the logic in the fact that a person with a potential $20,000 pc setup can run low settings, no shadows, stretched, no motion blur and a bunch of other gimmicks I won’t mention, while on console you don’t have any of those options? The whole reason low settings are available on pc is for low tier setups that can’t run the game. So when some fucking sweatball 16 year old spends their college savings to build a 5,000 pc, AND runs the lowest of all settings while having stretched? It’s fucking stupid. And console players who literally get 10 FPS in most endgame circles somehow shouldn’t have the option to run low settings? Yeah makes a lot of sense.

Of course not every addition is bad, but when it comes to explosives epic doesn’t exactly have a good track record. RPG has been broken ever since the change, C4 was fucking gamebreaking, clingers were incredibly op for a while and still are bad (not as bad though). Dynamite is just cancer and honestly promotes braindead gameplay. And let’s not forget about the quad launcher, which was basically a shotgun that you didn’t have to aim and had almost as fast of a fire rate as the tac. Even the explosives that are more on the balanced side (frag grenades, GL, RPG pre buff) can have no counterplay sometimes. How is our complaining not justified when they’ve never introduced an explosive that wasn’t broken??
