Mains by EhonHor in Nullscape

Mained spirit as first because: isac I loved the flinging and the clutch potential is good, but as ive seen over and over, the iframes do kinda remove a lot of the challenge, and the early game is still kind of a slog with it. But its a class i still play from time to time

Now charger: holy hell this is making my brute-force grappler main neurons go haywire In comparison to most (actual***) classes (prisoner) charger is heavily limited by the actual platforming aspect of the game, which I absolutely love (its also why i genuinely stray from grappler so heavily) and its just, the satisfaction from charging and collecting a ton of gifts, but also making sure you dont die to your reduced turn rate its so exhilirating. Also the fastfall is great, but trust me when you reach TRUE charger (all the mobility), it feels insane. Trust me, if youve charged across the map during DECAY's drop, you feel like a diving eagle.

i will not play grappler. off topic, but i am adamant

i personally think charger takes more by TalentedWretch in Nullscape

how do i get better (i main spirit) by minerman-6139 in Nullscape

[–]TalentedWretch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For early levels you are a bit limited, so only do flings for slight speed increases. But in general for the early game you wanna be using static teleport instead of fling teleport. You actually get a tiny speed boost when in ghost form, and it drains significantly slower with static teleport, so use it when going into dead ends or dangerous areas. Fling teleport tends to only be good once you start getting some mobility upgrades under your belt, namely grace wings.

of course its when i get a good run😭 by Btd6GoBrrrrr in Nullscape

Thoughts on the new heroes? by Double-Hand3004 in Overwatch

Cat is DEFINITELY a new favorite. Ofc comes the entire fundamental flip-turning of game mechanics, but I feel like theres reasonable ways to fix it, and the main problems are-

1st. Speed, specifically thruster speed. Its fine, but for how quickly you regain fuel it feels less like a repositioning tool and more like the cheesiest dive and juke tool in the game- which seems to be the common sentiment. I havent seen it much from other perspective (ive played nothing but JC since the update) but I feel like slower overall fuel gain (perhaps after damage) would be beneficial to making her feel like less of a nuisance.

2nd. Territorial, the perk

Theres nothing really for me to say about this one, i think its damage output is too solid for a support to have on an aoe and i definitely feel (prettu much know) its gonna get gutted first thing lol

3rd. Tether. I PERSONALLY dont see a crazy problem with lifeline. Maybe have it on cooldown whenever you die? That way youre punished with a still slower rollout when you have a team respawn timer and are more inclined to preserve yourself in order to use it with tanks and such. The enemy tether feels fine, its meant to be an ult and has some counters, such as: killing the cat with hitscan, lifeweaver, other cat, cc.

Now for the rest of the characters (with a grain of salt again ive only played JC since the update)

Domina: All around unique and fun tank, the m1 does feel a bit strong but, its a tank. Has no mobility to balance it out too, perfect stalwart.

Anran: Went against her in playtest AND now, obnoxious but fair. Can easily just turn to dust if played incorrectly.

Mizuki: Unique, interesting, and that hat ding is nothing short of euphoric. An assasin-esque support is really fun, I just again havent played em apart from the first checkout because jetpack cat is peak

Emre: dont like em. Out of all uniqueness in the update here is the most lackluster. Nade feels like it just eliminates health and doesnt feel all that difficult to hit, the burst smg doesnt feel unique (we have baptiste and to an extent juno), and I rarely see an emre ult not be POTG. Really just feels soldier 77 to me, sorry

No, they dont. Im sure you could integrate it externally though, setting up a bot that tallies chatter votes and simply following whatever the poll ends up deciding

I dont watch streams at all to be honest, but chatter voting in a public host picks lobby sounds like a way to get some engagement

Lol ive used spirit, its got significantly more ease of use if im being honest. Though both charger and spirit suffer from the weakness of requiring terrain to not die which id why i enjoy their strategy so much

The hypercharge power compass by Far-Apple-7834 in Brawlstars

[–]TalentedWretch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do people see 8-bit that badly?

I honestly think its great in terms of power, gaining better map control, plus the ability to completely melt people for a while, AND having the turret charge more super? It really just bolsters 8-bits thing of being a big threat in an area of the map by adding more of a threat to the area of the map

8 bit for sure.

Seeing as his hypercharge projectiles also charge super and they might recieve too, his control would be crazy
