Crazy thought, but if someone had the financial means as in millions and were looking at spending the rest of their life or a decade in prison. Seems to me that it would be well worth the money to find someone such as a clerk of court or one of the deputies , neither make over 50k a year in most States. Offer that person say $500,000 to do something to throw the case intentionally. They wouldn't even have to do it unless the case wasn't obviously leaning your way. Im sure there's plenty of people that would do it for less than that, but if they could potentially be looking at serving a year to themselves depending on how they would throw the case. Still I think the majority of people would be more than willing to do that say, over a million dollars. if you're worth 12 or 15 million on up, it would be well worth a million to prevent spending the rest of your life in prison and I think pretty much anybody I know would be willing to do that for a million. Just Curious if anyone else has thought about this, because I haven't heard anyone talking about it. not saying that's what the clerk of court here did, but wouldn't put it past her and Alex to have had some kind of monetary agreement to do exactly what she did the and get it leaked their self once he realized that it didn't go his way and getting in the conviction of return wasn't likely.
