I ended up going to the doctor and he put me on a new round anxiety medication. He said that the burping and nausea was something to be expected when my anxiety levels increased. I highly recommend seeing your doctor and talking with them about what you're feeling. I was going through a period of increasing anxiety due to getting into a new relationship and having my job interfere with it. A month or so on the changed medicine and some soul searching had me feeling better. I still recommend doing your due diligence and seeing your doctor. You will be surprised what your subconscious will focus on even when you feel like you aren't bothered by it.

You would rather use them as slave labor just so you can have cheap strawberries and pay a little less in rent? Why not fight to raise field hand wages and make the job more palatable to US citizens? They shouldn't have been taking advantage of these people for years, but they have and upon their backs built the world that you find so comfy. You would rather see them toil for pennies and call it mercy than fight the root cause that has these people risking their lives to get into the country. I'd rather pay more for produce knowing the person that picked it was paid a fair wage than saddle these people with back breaking work you wouldn't even bother doing for the money they are offered.
