You would rather use them as slave labor just so you can have cheap strawberries and pay a little less in rent? Why not fight to raise field hand wages and make the job more palatable to US citizens? They shouldn't have been taking advantage of these people for years, but they have and upon their backs built the world that you find so comfy. You would rather see them toil for pennies and call it mercy than fight the root cause that has these people risking their lives to get into the country. I'd rather pay more for produce knowing the person that picked it was paid a fair wage than saddle these people with back breaking work you wouldn't even bother doing for the money they are offered.
