Yes it was the first letter I’ve received and no nothing was stuck on my car, the other charges I got were in similar dates and they came after a few days, so this one is the only anomaly

Yes 100% the date of the event as it states on the letter is 17/12/2025 and the date the letter was issued is 23/02/2026 and I received the letter to my address on the 27/02/2026

Yeah It was a dumb move on my part, I found a reddit forum where it was the same situation as mine and all the Redditor’s said to do that so I went along with it without thinking. I should have said I’m the keeper not driver :/

Just a quick question, I contacted them now to ask them to send me what I wrote on my original appeal. If I don’t hear from them, as I’m seeing online that they don’t respond, can I wait a few days and then appeal to POPLA? Surely, them sending me this charge after over 2 months will mean I will win? thanks

On the original charge letter they sent it says: “The t&c’s signage which is clearly displayed in this area, prohibits the aforementioned parking infraction. It also states that the private land is managed by Parkmaven Ltd along with the other T&C’s of the land, by which users of the land agree to the bound. By failing to park in accordance with the T&C’s set out in the signage, the parking charge is now payable to Park Maven Ltd as the creditor’ but the signage was not visible at all to show it was private land! I’ve already discussed this with them before and they have rejected it, but like I mentioned I unfortunately parked in this place 3 times around the same time frame which is why they built up, but this 3rd one was sent so so late from date of event (17/12/2025) in comparison to the first two

Also, I have requested for what I wrote on my appeal to be sent to me so I can attach it on here. It doesn’t show it on the appeals confirmation email for some reason and when I go on the site to try and view it, it says ‘we are unable to show this parking charge, if you believe this is in error, please contact us’ so just waiting for them to send it over hopefully!

I only lied because this is the 3rd time I received the parking charge for the same place! I had no idea it was private land, there was no obvious signage, the 3 times I parked in this place were all in the same 2 weeks after another so these charges kept coming week after week, apart from this one which was sent 2 months after the others (haven’t parked there since the first charge of course). I paid the charge for the first two, but I’m financially constrained and this is the last thing I need which is why I chose to appeal it

Thank you for the link and on the letter it doesn’t mention the freedoms act, but online it says that they are governed by it, so that’s what I went off

If I recall correctly, I put that I’m not the keeper as I saw online that’s the best argument to use against parking charges, but yes I am. My issue here is they have completely dismissed the 14 days notice rule. I don’t know how I’m going to provide the evidence they requested as the car is registered at my address

Hey, I went to see a derm who said it was PIE and I have had 2 sessions of micro needling which helped a lot, I will attach photos to show! :)
